Visual Inspection

The visual inspection may be the most underestimated method of all. It is commonly referred to as basic, but most manufacturers as well as those operating in the field of maintaining particular components recognize increasingly the need to fully understand the method. Often, indications detected are not clearly identifiable as whished for. Occasionally indications are detected that can not be discriminated enough to disposition a part or component acceptable, or rejectable.
